|Deacon Steve Beers
Rev. Mr. Steve Beers was ordained in 2000. Deacon Beers is a business consultant and small business owner. He and his wife June have two children and three grandchildren. Deacon Steve and June have been parishioners of St. George since 1987.
Monique is a native of Brooks, GA and holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA. She has diverse experience in finance and project management and formerly held a Project Management Professional certification while in the work force as an international project manager for National Cash Register (NCR). She has also held series 66, 7 and insurance licenses while working for investment services firms. See More
Prior to conversion into the Catholic faith in 2010, she earned a Theological Certificate from the University of the South. For the past 7 years she has taught natural family planning as a certified teacher with SymptoPro Fertility Education, a division of Northwest Family Services. She is married to Dan, is a home school mother of two daughters, a volunteer in the Faith Formation program at St. George Catholic Church, a volunteer for the Healing Ministries at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and an avid beekeeper and gardener. Monique is one of the founding members of Ave Maria Academy.
Born in Texas, Andrew has lived on and off in Georgia since 1970. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics with minors in Computer Science and Electrical
Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. His professional career has taken him from programming control equipment for the Strategic Petroleum Reserves in southern Louisiana to requirements gathering, design and development of mobile dispatch systems for Oracle Corporation. His early education included attendance at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School in Hapeville, GA and Saint Mary's Redemptorist Seminary in North East, PA. He and his wife, Pam, are parishioners at Saint George Catholic Church in Newnan, GA along with their daughter, Nora. He is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6622. When not spending time with his family, Andrew is raising horses, restoring World War II jeeps or involved in medieval combat reenactment.
Jennifer was born in Toronto, Canada and relocated to Georgia with her parents and brothers after graduating from Trent University (Peterborough, ON) with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. She went on to earn an associates degree in Information Technology from Clayton State College and began her career as Webmaster for a software company in south Atlanta. She transferred into Marketing Communications and specialized in product marketing, event planning, quantitative and qualitative market research and served as the corporate brand manager. See More
As a young adult, Jennifer became active in several church and diocesan ministries and studied Pope St. John Paul II’s ‘Theology of the Body,’ under Christopher West at Theology of the Body Institute (Downingtown, PA). She began sharing and speaking on this message of good news to teen and young adult groups. It was at one of these speaking engagements where she met her husband, Kenny, and they married in 2008. Kenny and Jennifer are parishioners of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, where Jennifer served as the Respect Life Ministry leader. They live in Newnan where they are raising their three beautiful daughters, Grace, Maggie and Josephine.
|Mr. Timothy “Tim” Danaher
Tim was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, where he received a Jesuit elementary and high school education. He attended the University of Missouri and earned a B.A. and M.A. in Geography. After Graduate School, Tim was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Signal Corps and served the next 26 years in various overseas and stateside assignments of increasing responsibility. In Germany, he served with the 32nd Army Air Defense Command, 8th Infantry Division, and 1st Armored Division.See More
Upon returning stateside, Tim served with Special Forces Command, US Army Recruiting Command, The Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve, and the US Army Reserve Command. In 2000, Tim was afforded the opportunity to attend and Operation Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA) course at Ft. Lee, VA. While there, he had the joy of being immersed in graduate level mathematics for four long months. After graduating the ORSA course, Tim served the final 14 years of his career as a personnel strength and retention officer. In 2014, he retired in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel from of Fort Bragg, NC. Tim and his family have lived Newnan, GA since 2004. Outside of his military duties, he has served the church in a variety of catechetical positions: Confirmation catechist, Post-Confirmation CCD instructor, Middle School Catechist, and currently an Apologetics Catechist. Tim, and his wife of 20 years, Alira, are parishioners at St. Francis de Sales Church in Mableton, GA and have one daughter Megan.
|Mary Kate Silloway
Mary Kate Silloway is an attorney who focuses her practice primarily in the field of trusts and estates. Mary graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in May of 2015 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in November of 2015. Prior to law school, Mary graduated cum laude from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a minor in Art History. Mary is currently living in Newnan with her husband, Patrick, and their young son. They are active parishioners at St. George Catholic Church where her husband is involved in the Knights of Columbus and Mary is a member of the Women’s Guild. In her free time she enjoys camping and hiking with her family.
|Lawrence H. “Bo” Davis, III
L.H. (Bo) Davis, III is the Financial Controller for the Civil Engineering and Water Resource firm, Integrated Science and Engineering, Inc. He began his time at ISE in the Water Resources department, monitoring streams and rivers related to NPDES regulatory compliance. In addition, he also served as an instrumental team member helping to develop an efficient system to inventory and map Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems in a GIS environment. Now in administration, he directs the accounting and financial functions of this growing firm. Bo started his professional career as a trained classical chef, working in several noted Atlanta restaurants before shifting his focus to finance. See More
He received his BBA from Georgia College & State University in 2011 followed by a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation in 2013. He is currently sitting for the CPA exam and hope to obtain certification in 2016. When he’s not working or studying, you can find him reading, working on DIY projects around the house, or working on his golf swing. Bo lives in Moreland, GA with his wife Leslie and their rescue dog Duke.
|Fr. Henry Atem
Spiritual & Catechetical Advisor
Fr. Henry Atem was born on September 27, 1978, in Cameroon, West Africa. After completing high school, he and his family moved to Georgia. He attended North Georgia College & State University and the University of Georgia where he studied accounting and philosophy. After joining the Archdiocese of Atlanta in 2003, he attended Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he earned his Masters in Divinity and a Masters of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Systematic Theology. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 31, 2008, by Archbishop Wilton Gregory. He served as parochial vicar at St. Peter Chanel, Roswell (June 2008 – June 2011), and St. Patrick, Norcross (June 2011 – July 2012). See More
His hobbies are reading, watching TV, and playing soccer and tennis. He was elected to serve as the President of the African Conference of Catholic Clergy and Religious in the United States (ACCCRUS) in August 2013. Father Henry was assigned as pastor of St. George Catholic Church in July 2012. Father Henry has been a primary champion for our cause and we are forever grateful and indebted to his support, his good counsel and his prayers.

Dan is a graduate of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL), and previously served on its Board of Directors and is the Past Chair. In addition, Dan serves on the ARC Environment and Land Use Committee and was appointed by Governor Deal to serve on the Georgia Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors.
